Nov 30 - Last few beers before home

Nov 29 - Auckland

Nov 28 - Waiheke Island

One of those things that stick. And rightly so, this is a tasting menu at a vineyard from the top of a "wine island," looking upon Auckland harbour.

Nov 27 - Abel Tasman National Park

Second hike; a bit shorter, and quite a bit warmer.

Nov 26 - Nelson

Train ride from Blenheim to Nelson,
and this is what she is taking a picture of (I know this is cheating, but it's bloody New Zealand)

Nov 25 - Blenheim

Marlborough wines come from here, and they also seem to make some of the best gin and chocolates I'd ever tried.

Nov 24 - Kaikoura

Beautiful little place. I may have to switch this picture (hesitantly) for a underwater close-up of a dolphin shot.

Nov 23 - Christchurch

Owing to the earthquake that took Christchurch down, most of the town was completely shut down. Obviously, though, it was "occupied".

Nov 22 - Queenstown

Nov 21 - Milford Sound

Nov 20 - More of Kepler track

This was the first, and the best part of the third day. After this it was 23 km of rain and slush and very sodden socks.

Nov 19 - Kepler Track

2 day hike up the mountain on the kepler track.

Nov 18 - Te Anua

Nov 17 - Queenstown, New Zealand

Nov 16 - New Zealand

Nov 15 - New Zealand

October 7

Steve Jobs had a wonderful taunt for his developers, "real engineers ship!" Clarendon, Arlington.

October 2

This is just by Reagan national; quite frankly I never even saw the little girl leaning over the stroller in the middle - makes for a good picture nonetheless. Washington, DC

October 1

Outside my apartment, on a bush. Clarendon, Arlington
